The cost of the workshop includes a copy of CIC’s Residential Property Management Procedures Manual, a guidebook providing marketing and management assistance to owners and managers of multifamily apartment buildings. Landlord Training Provided by Waukegan Police Department

The Waukegan Police Department will host landlord training from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. August 16 at City Hall, 410 Robert V. Sabonjian Place.

Topics to be covered are preparing the property, applicant screening, rental agreements, ongoing management, evictions, warning, illegal activity, working with the police and the Section 8 program. Guest speaker on court evictions will be Lake County Circuit Court Judge Michael J. Fritz.
